One thing that is quickly clear... 1v1v1 is superior to 2v2v2. Fast, nimble, less planning, more reactive.

Also, 1v1v1 is superior to 1v1 due to how Gods have to split up decisions, so effects get diluted, and therefore more easily manageable.

Now, I really enjoyed 1v1v1, way more than 1v1. But this made me wonder, and should be tested...for 5 FFA and 6 FFA, maybe should have two godballs -- that way, nobody wouls feel too stuck due to crowdedness, because the battles will always be nearby, and the fact that godball returns to center after a goal.

I think that's a thing worth testing. It's definitely an idea that occurred to me the first time the Golden Apple was played.

From 1 game, 1v1v1 feels like the optimal play count right now. Duels feel good, but there was just the right amount of interaction between players, I think, and the 2 opponents create enough defensive opportunities that you have to account for that it's not so easy to just grab the ball and waltz in.

I had more, but apparently I'm multitasking at the moment and it's escaped me.
