[GB] Athena

Athena is an excellent support player, and she fits well with the idea of 'planning, wisdom and defense,' but she is lacking in oomph. Not a lot, she can 'almost' hold her own with pretty much everyone, but she doesn't have the 3 or 4 push cards to get her over the edge that other Gods seem to have. (As Flame said, she'd be awesome in a 16 round game).

On top of that, while she has lots of blessings that are great, they're not all super interesting. She could use a couple unique cards to supplement and tweak what she already has.

Reaction: Direct cards are applied equally to all heroes (law and justice)

Legend: Archane - web acting like grab

Direct: burst of energy- set hp to 8 hp. (This is a special level, and takes in consideration that almost everything Athena does requires hp to use)

One more possibility:

Direct: take up to 2 actions, ignoring hp costs.

(Might be similar in effect to burst of energy, because it means resting is likely.)

So from a happy accident:

Someone at the game last night kept trying to play the blessings from her hand as she wanted to use them. It could be that this is the way Athena can have extra oomph in her abilities. She has what are, basically, "reaction blessings." Blessings that can be played directly from the hand as she activates them on the hero board. Either the 0 HP cost ones, or ones with costs that are paid as they are activated.

Or that she has reaction blessings that occur after a Defender chooses to not block an attack. A "Reaction: If a hero action is undefended: <blah blah blah blah blah> happens.
"What are you going to do?"
"I'm going to roll an 8."
