Wow, thanks Wowie, this is great stuff. I'm glad that Korant likes the new version so far! I don't have time to process and comment on all the things, but 2 things I can answer quickly.

The duel variant is currently 2 Hero teams with 1 God. Haven't figured out the best way to implement a turn order, but I think it would be cool if during a round each Player had 2 turns, one for each Hero. Either Hero can go first, but they can only take actions once in a round.

So:

A Round
Player 1 First Turn: Hero A or B
Player 2 First Turn: Hero A or B
Player 1 Second Turn: Hero whichever one didn't go the first time.
Player 2 Second Turn: Hero whichever one didn't go the first time.

As it stands right now, you will be playing 2 God Powers per Round. 1 for each set of heroes.

The other thing is that Poseidon is the God of natural disasters, earthquakes and the land, not just water. So mountains are actually thematic for him, too. It's split 50/50 at the moment, though that might slant toward water later as more data comes in.

Poseidon v. Hermes would be an interesting match up. Since Hermes can mitigate getting knocked down as much.

I'll take a look at the card suggestions. Again, we'll need more data before we can figure out how to best adjust things. Now that the core mechanics are (closer) to set, it'll take more testing to figure out the direction smaller things need to head.
