Re: Stand Still Stay Silent
Very well done. I like especially that she's taking her time, and that the scope is ingeniously limited. Love her running commentary also. I sent it to a student of mine who is an artist, but isn't really working, just as a model for the kind of projects one could undertake part time at first.

Re: College Roommates
Freshman triple, with a one-eyed blackjack player from Syracuse, and a hockey player from Manhattan. I'm still on friendly terms with the blackjack player, and he's the head cook at my school. The kind of thing whee we touch base a few times a year, I'd buy him a beer if we were at the same bar, etc...

Re: Giant Hunt - Post Dragon Battle
Lesser restoration is on Hal's daily spell list, and he has used it several times. If Illian can be carried to Sandpoint, Hal will gladly fix his leg.

Re: Trigger Warnings
There's a syllabus. It presents topics likely to be discussed in class before you take the class. Nowadays, there are publicly available notes, responses and evaluations of every class also available to those who wish to find them. I issue warnings about video presentations that contain images, etc ...

Re: [No Trolls] Biblical Christianity
"Biblical Christian" is used as a self description similarly to "Constitutional Constructionist." Unfortunately, as mentioned, it's more an argumentative crutch than realistic reference to actual text, or adherence to the logic (or lack of it) of that text. My brother-in-law call...

Re: Giant Hunt - Post Dragon Battle
Our expectation for the chase mission is just to erase them and then return, right?

Re: Dothan stays behind
Modestly worried that they'll miss Dothan if she stays behind. Eight giants, maybe more. One badass wielding two picks, although he was hurt. Probably ok, but without Hal and Dothan it's not a slam dunk, like it might be otherwise. Is it possible that Sandpoint, (really supportive, relationship-wise...

Re: Name That Group!
I'd go along with any name change the group wishes, basically, but I have some questions: Are we changing it because it's bland or because there are new members? If because of new members, if we experience an episode with a lot of death and PCs get replaced with different PCs run by the same folks, ...

Re: Giant Dragon Bear Battle
My understanding of the physics and philosophical model of the Pathfinder world would encourage use of the dragon's hide and even consumption of its fresh heart (if the lore supports it) and not consider those things barbaric. The whole idea of barbarism is actually our invention, and it's meant mor...

Re: Giant Hunt - Post Dragon Battle
Splitting the party makes sense in this case only because Hal will be on autopilot. I'd suggest Dothan accompany, especially if Hal is absent. The mission, as I see it, is simply to ambush the fleeing giants so that they a) do not fetch reinforcements, b) reduce the numbers of giants we ultimately h...

Re: Giant Dragon Bear Battle
To begin: while a dragon is a next level phenomenon, so was a black magga, so was a lamia. We stick together, find what hurts it, and take care of each other. Not all dragons breathe fire (some do worse) and these giants seem pretty weird about whom they hang out with, so I concur: throw as many arr...

"sorry, if you hadn't meant to say that aloud. I wouldn't want to intrude. I totally agree. There's no leader here, and if we can squash this quickly, we'll move to the next point, so definitely keep your eyes open. Maybe pop up and shoot once or twice, as long as you don't present much of a ta...

Hi, First of all, my apologies for missing Thurs. I thought I had made arrangements to connect while not at home, but noob errors defeated me. I expect to be where I am expected to be this Thurs. Love the idea of having a place, but two things: 1 -If the original spirit of the Troubleshooters is to ...
