Another possibility is a human soldier as, so far, no one can use guns larger than the small arms category.

It also depends on household temp/humidity. Growing up in the west, bread rarely went bad. In humid Baltimore summers in a house with insufficient air conditioning, bread went moldy in a couple of days if not in the fridge.
