Re: Russia

To be fair, the Democrats are no better. The same Dems who mocked Mitt Romney for saying during the debates that Russia was the top international threat are now screaming for Russian blood. Context is everything. In 2012 Russia hadn't annexed a chunk of the Ukraine and wasn't low-key trying to anne...

Re: Trump

I'm having difficulty figuring out this response because I did not write any of the things you quoted me as writing - those are your words which I am claiming are false statements. Statements can be false in many ways, so responding to whatever set of straw men or teacups you are imagining doesn't ...

Re: Trump

Just out of curiosity... in all fairness to whom? The Holocaust was undeniable horrible, but it is not unique in it's methodology or results. One, the methodology of Genocide has been defined fairly well. All genocides follow the same general steps. Two, if you exclude the non jewish deaths, then y...

Re: Trump

Then again, no one batted an eye when Hillary's SecState release on the Holocaust didn't explictly mention the Jews. [...] What's the difference, exactly? Do you seriously not see it? And do you seriously think nobody batted an eye at anti-Semitic or weak statements on the Holocaust before Trump? I...

I am very sorry to intrude with real facts as opposed to these alternative ones but the Israelis are not committing genocide against the Palestinians. https://ccrjustice.org/genocide-palestinian-people-international-law-and-human-rights-perspective http://genocidewatch.net/category/updates/byregion...

I can only assume Jeffy is talking about Frankie's husband. Could be a different guy.

Re: Trump

In all fairness, some 11 to 13 million people died in the holocaust and they were not all Jews. Yes, the Nazis targeted Jews, specifically. They also targeted intellectuals who questioned their quasi-religious idealogy, those who mocked them through satire, those who were mentally handicapped, homos...

Re: Have you ever served in the military (a poll)

Joe didn't serve I don't think. I miss him, from llamas to aeroplanes, he was neat. Ray also never served. Andy(Paladin) served/serves. MacSwift on Deep Resonance was, if I remember correctly, former bundeswehr who joined the US army and became an officer. There's... laws. I can't remember his old h...

Re: Trump

While I understand the real problems of "trump is literally hitler", the replies that this parallels the end of the Roman Republic, or Pedron in argentina is exactly the point: While trump may not litteraly be hitler, he is an authoritarian, and his close aides are nationalists. And the co...

Re: Trump

Trump is looking supiciously like Hindenberg, and Bannon is looking like. You know. Which means I guess Spicer is Goebbels, though Milo could be Goebbels. Still need a KDP and Rotfront to stir up violence with the hooligans so you can approve "special emergency powers" that will never be r...

So 1 out of 2 trump supporters are racists, and all that other jazz? Only on the republican side can we find deplorable who use racist language, sexist language, etc? Sorry, that doesn't pass the smell test. Look, Democrats lost most among their "core": minorities. Hispanic, African Americ...

It may not be the most efficient, but I don't think you can get better than a good hardwood flame.
Of course, ventilation and scorching are negatives, but, well, you cannot have everything.

Re: Dog Howling

I think it's a form of communication. Howls carry for a long distance, with parts in the audible spectrum we cannot hear. Dogs apparently can understand about 300 words in a human language, so I would not be surprised if they have a primitive language of their own.

Re: Trump

I think people have been a little hard, unnecessarily, on Comey. I can understand his legitimate fears: a Clinton presidency marks the end of his career, his lower ranks are frothing for blood, his boss was basically in the clinton's circle. And he had a relatively simple case against her, one that ...
