I contend that "Ozymandias" is the best hour of TV drama ever made--it pulled together so many things, and was a superb climax to the series.

What was Frank Turner like in person??? Very good. I didn't know most of the songs he played, but it didn't matter. And he played 2 sets. After the opener, he came out alone and played a bunch of songs from his most recent album. Then after a break, he returned with the whole band and played more. ...

After the kids were born, I didn't go to a show for years. That streak ended when I saw Midnight Oil in 2017. Nothing in 2018. but 3 this year--Jawbox, Frank Turner, and Sleater-Kinney. I'm not sure when we'll let the kids go to concerts. I keep thinking that if Midnight Oil tours again, maybe it'll...

The venue is close to the baseball stadium, and the World Series game 3 is in DC tonight, so it's going to be crowded as hell down there (and on the train to get there).
