Roll a pod-o-matic. Square the result. Add the digits together. Square that. Add the digits together again and answer that question.

Re: Listener Betrayal 150!
The state of music today is one of great turmoil. The record giants are finding ways to maintain their market share against the proliferation of streaming and download services. Independent artists are doing their best to get the word out, but changes in the way Social Media sites display their cont...

Oh that is below the belt, Mike. Below the belt.

Re: Godsball
You don't need attack and defense stats. You only need actions and reaction. Powers work. They're gods, of course their powers work. There should be defense reactions that can offset the attacking action, but all of the powers should work all the time.

Re: This Happened
If I might offer a little bit of advice, though I am not an expert on the Kodaly Sonata specifically, I have read through it and I have a way of thinking of some of the passages that might help. With this piece, like so many others of this insane difficulty level, thinking of the technique as choreo...

Re: Godsball
What about this? A card consists of an action, a reaction and a movement icon. You start with five cards. On your turn you get to play two cards as either an action or as movement. Opponents are allowed to play reactions to your plays. At the end of your turn you draw back up to five cards. This all...

Re: Godsball
Crazy suggestion, and think about it for awhile. Do we really need a board? No! In fact, that would mean it could be played on any table anywhere. Or even on the floor. Okay, the boundaries are this drink cup and that backpack. Go! If we use the cards still, the short end of the card could be used ...

Re: Godsball
Okay, complete change of mindset here. I've been thinking of this game very tactically. I created a game back in college called Gravball that played out very slowly and tactically. It used dice instead cards. But it was plodding and extremely slow and long. I've been thinking of Godball in terms of...

Re: Godsball
And I think 4e took it from MMORPGs. It's a good way to group things, but there's still room for flexibility within the type. Or maybe each God gets a pair of archtypes for their powers. ALSO MIKE! I figured out how to make it a team game. The object remains the same, get the ball from one side to t...

I'm uncertain of the counting method that Master is using. I thought I'd figured it out, thinking it was akin to Roman Numerals, but alas, now I am just confused.
