Re: [GB] Card Names
I've been quietly keeping up with things here even though I'm not active. I like this idea a lot. I was playing/learning some Red Dragon Inn with friends the other day and one of the first things I noticed was how colorfully named the cards were. It's little touches like this that make a game ooze p...

Re: [GB] Moving through heroes
I like the idea of slimming it down.
Certain heroes or gods might still break the rules though

Re: [GB] Playtest?
An problem with that is it can cause an edge case where two people can end on the same hex (someone terrain surfs onto you, but you don't move if you take it to the face). Easiest way to make it operate is to make terrain/pillar pushes operate like hero shoves, but I digress.

Re: [GB] Hero Action Adjustments
Keep in mind the reason Defend was made cheaper and actions were limited was because whoever was holding the ball would instantly have their AP drained to zero the turn after they grabbed it, making any attempt to hold onto the ball for more than half a round fruitless. I wouldn't be against playtes...

Re: [GB] Card Patch List
Order of operations: Possible to Grab then Move? Or only Move then Grab? Is it possible to discard extra unwanted cards during the cleanup phase before redrawing? Just kind of got mixed in as part of one of my feedbacks, this isn't actually card related, just clarification related. Hermes M-SEC-005...

[GB] Zeus vs Hermes vs Hera, TTS style. 3-way tie!
Just another game of Godball... Perseus+Hera (played by Royal_Nightmare), Achilles+Hermes (played by korant), and Zeus+Medusa (played by yours truly). Here's the play by play, since that seems to be the popular format around here: https://i.imgur.com/e2IPGCh.jpg Achilles sprints toward the ball on f...

Re: [GB] 5/19/2018 TTS Duel Test
Wow, thanks Wowie, this is great stuff. I'm glad that Korant likes the new version so far! I don't have time to process and comment on all the things, but 2 things I can answer quickly. The duel variant is currently 2 Hero teams with 1 God. Haven't figured out the best way to implement a turn order...

[GB] 5/19/2018 TTS Duel Test
So a friend and I held a quick duel. Over 9 rounds, Poseidon scored 3 points on Athena without difficulty, at one point literally running circles around her (by proxy, of course). After that, we agreed to end a few rounds early because it was obvious that Athena probably wouldn't even score a point....

Re: [GB] Notes from May-9 playtest
I propose sorting out who gets to go first by an actual game of six way soccer in the middle of a natural disaster. /joke
In all seriousness, count me in on "sort it out like adults". I want that suggestion in the rulebook verbatim.

Re: For Wowie
Today's playtest had me psyched enough to whip out a Tabletop Simulator port of the current playtest materials. This is what I came up with. https://i.imgur.com/gbNPguQ.jpg All I'm missing are card backs and the rules themselves! :D (They currently have index-card backs in the spirit of the WIP natu...

Re: For Wowie
Whoa, this is literally (not abusing "literally", here, I mean it) perfectly set up for importing into TTS. A friend of mine will be excited for this!

Ah. The words "should be done" made it sound like it was available. My bad. I'm not an idiot for not being able to find it, I'm an idiot for misinterpreting. Px
I'll sit back and wait then, no rush.

Re: [GB] P'n'P 2.0 Todo list
When we have the new version ready, I can give you access to all the original graphics. The map will be all in one piece. All the cards and tokens and boards will be individual files (for the most part). I might be able to put together a 6x5 array of cards for each deck with just a few minutes work...
