My washing machine stopped working last night. After some diagnosis, I figured it was the lid switch. So I opened up the back and disconnected the switch, but I couldn't figure out how to remove it. So I cleaned it and reconnected the power, and now it's working again. Yay!

I'm with Kyle. I've always assumed that their selections were based on popularity and recognizability. Thus any perceived inequities are more a reflection of Hollywood over the last few decades.
