If you haven't heard me talk about it before, you're essentially playing out Tron's lightcycles. You have targets on the board that each of you are angling for, and your vehicle leaves a solid trail behind you that boxes in the other players. As you adjust your speed up and down, maneuvering becomes harder or easier, and everything actually moves pretty quickly. You pick the speed and angle of turn you want (by simply picking up a piece of path to play). If you're turning, you roll a die to see if you can do that. You lay the piece down and move your marker. You get a crystal, you get points. You run into something, you crash and lose your built up trail... start over at the edge of the map.
It's quick, it's challenging, it's fun. But the rules are simple enough that I'm figuring this is going to be a great game night selection, because it catches everyone's attention, and I think I can convince all ages to jump in on it. It's made by Nicole and Anthony who also made Resistor and Kobolds. (You can see them in the video on the Kickstarter page).Statistics: Posted by Mike — Tue Oct 11, 2016 1:03 pm
