Mr. & Mrs. Smith -- maybe it was funny at times i think but really few memories of Hitch's only straight comedy.
Notorious - beautifully filmed with awesome actors, but so so serious
The Trouble with Harry - pretty good from what i remember
To Catch a Thief - beautiful film that runs on charm, but slogs a bit and unsurprising.
Spellbound (1945) - some great innovations (including Dali's sequence) but I think I got all I'll get out of it after 2 views.
Suspicion (1941) - so so serious. Good stuff, but I prefer Cary Grant absolutely charming.
Secret Agent (1936) - what? I dunno.
Shadow of a Doubt (1943) - solid suspense. If Hitch didn't hit so many home runs later, probably would have been his most admired film.
The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927) - creepy good when not laughable.
Foreign Correspondent (1940) - beautiful action film with fun characters, chases, and surprises
Frenzy (1972) - Amazing film. A bit of Hitchcock creep (see rape scene that can be taken as gratuitous or extremely-empathetic or both), but otherwise it's honestly scary, suspenseful, and funny.
