1. Fix Poseidon
Flame already seems to have a great idea for this. Poseidon creates lots of terrain, but also has cards that eat up terrain to power other effects, and in the end, his overall stuff-creation rate is about on par with the other gods. This involves a whole crap-ton of card revisions that will then need playtesting, but it’s the right idea heading in the right direction. This is good.
2. Create heroes
This is my number one priority right now. I need to create 6-10 heroes that each have 2 or 3 unique aspects to them. For most of them, favored terrain will probably be one of those, but not necessarily.
3. Revise rules
a. Hero Points are now called Action Points (AP).
b. Revise/clarify the intercept rules to allow interception from adjacent hexes. Define what that means exactly. Decide if cost needs to change or vary from the standard 2AP action.
c. Your god power can be played any time during your turn.
d. A hero who has been grabbed is allowed only a single hero action on their next turn.
e. The default rule will be unlimited use of actions on your turn as long as you have points to pay for them. The hero boards will need to be modified so that intercept and defend are marked as reactions, and the bottom row (move, sprint, rest) are marked as one use per turn only. The attacks, plus kick/throw, will not be limited.
f. Carrying the godball into your own goal counts as 2 points. If the godball enters your goal by any other means, 1 point.
g. Rules for dropping the godball.
h. All of this requires going through all the cards and ensuring consistency with revised rules.
4. Update the Print’n’Play
a. New hero cards
b. New god decks
c. Ensure that all required special tokens are available in the P’n’P, and redo all of them to have color-coded borders to match their gods.Statistics: Posted by Mike — Mon Jul 09, 2018 1:47 pm
