The movie is Hundreds of Beavers. It's an indie Canadian film that won several awards. It's free if you have Amazon Prime already. Otherwise, it's a cheap rental.
It's IMDB description is: "Hundreds of Beavers is a supernatural silent film set in the 17th century that follows a drunken applejack salesman who must become North America's greatest fur trapper by defeating hundreds of beavers." And that is exactly what it is. Made in the spirit of early Looney Tunes and it's silent predecessors, Hundreds of Beavers unfurls it's tale over nearly two hours, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Twice.
I recommend not watching it alone if you can manage it, only because the fun is better shared. I watched it with Lisa and Noah, and we had to practically bribe Noah into sitting down with us (movies at home are not his thing). But he enjoyed it so much, that he insisted that we watch it again two nights later so he could share with his brother Eli.
I liked it even more the second time.
