Now a little more seriously, my life gets a good deal more complicated in the evenings starting in 2 weeks. This is good because work(tm) but sucks because we are so close to the end of the campaign. I was going to ask that we could maybe try a different night for September, but it turns out through a couple of quirks of scheduling, that all of the nights are terrible for me.

Pat, are there enough sessions left that I'll be able to miss September and jump back in during October?

I am sorry about this. I have been trying to win the Powerball, but no such luck yet. I will try harder.

I don't think we're finishing in 2 sessions. You should be there for the finale.

Should another night be deemed better for the group, I am open to switching. Monday nights aren't good, anything else is flexible.

If the schedule doesn't get completely changed by outside factors, at some point in the late fall through winter my son will have swim meets on many Tuesday nights, so that will not be the best of nights for me. But Wednesday nights or Thursday nights work for me. I'm perfectly fine with keeping the schedule as it is, but if others would prefer to move to a different night, I can likely make it work.

I have a business proposition: let's build an assisted living home in a very cold part of the country where it rarely gets above 85°, and staff it not only with nurses but with professional DMs and such. We can also have a video game arcade you know, things for the people. And then we go to these Gen cons and other sorts of cons and solicit residents to buy a condo in our home. Pardon me our assisted living center. We make money hand over fist on this which allows us to fund our own residency at the same location at some distant future point.

I will not be home tonight until 10:30 est but at that point I should be good to go. I will try to check in on my phone a bit before that if possible because I might be sitting in a parking lot. The phone interface is really bad because I can't see the map at all and sometimes I log in and it will give me a certain amount of the comments but then I can't scroll further to new ones. However if you see me popping in and out it's just so that I can read what's going on in the comments section.

Is the next one on this coming Thurs? If so I'll be picking up a kid at some point but that should take about 20-30 minutes, during the first hour or two of the session.

I have to be the local troop representative for a scout getting his eagle Thursday. Starts at 8:15 CST. I don't imagine I will be gaming before 9:30 that night.

It's supposed to be tonight. But Hal and (I assume) Illian will be MIA, and Dothan will be late, and we're in the middle of a serious battle. Do we fight on with whoever shows up? Or do we postpone for another week or two?

I would propose postponing. I think the fight could be handled, but I'm concerned as to what may happen next.

I'm fine with that. I may check in on Roll20 around that time to see if anyone is hanging out, but probably won't stay on long. Unless I see a post here or on Discord or Messenger that it's back on.

It will be good for me to work all evening to be honest. I'm already playing catch up. Maybe if I finish something I can actually make sure my character sheet is up to date. To that end does anybody have an idea exactly what level I'm supposed to be??? I know for sure that I'm missing one or two feats I never selected. I don't know why I keep putting this off when it is one of the joys of life.

Have arranged things such that I should be home when it starts and present for most of the session, but will need to take a 20 min break to pick up a kid and someone will have to text me or something during that time if there's a crisis!!! Then I've got to go pick up a guy at like 11:30, 12 at night so I might have to leave slightly early, depending.

Hey folks, I am only asking this because we are so close to the end of our journey. I have a lot of Thursday gigs coming up. One of which is the 4th, our next play date. Now, I am free on November 3rd (Wednesday), and I am also free the following week on Thursday (the 11th). Would either of those two be possibilities for folks? I am also not free on the 18th, but that is a bridge that looks to be far away.

I think that I would prefer the 11th, as I do not have work that day, and have very little to do the following day at work. I will consult Andrew and SB.
