Maybe haven't heard this in 15+ years but like it more than ever probably. This is an ace rapper/singer collab!

Another fun Hype Williams production

Essential wikipedia music video plot points...
Jackson appears in a liquid tunnel as Rhymes morphs into a sperm-like creature and floats towards her. A marching band of miniature Rhymes passes through the tunnel's walls as Rhymes transforms into one himself, before morphing again to rise through the tunnel's ceiling. Electric sparks fly as miniature versions of himself pour like raindrops onto Jackson's breasts. Towards the finale, Rhymes and Jackson are united to perform together, as their bodies rub up on each other. The remaining scenery then combusts into little as they continue transforming into a silver liquid.

Wow. It feels really suggestive when you describe it like that.

Surprising amount of rock! Like eight songs or so, and at least three songs with a latin flavor. Not bad for diversity, '99.

Rare for someone deep in their career to have such a successful resurgence. Even the big names you may think of for comebacks aren't usually 30+ years into their careers. Though doing my project, I'm amazed at the longevity of Louis Armstrong, who hit huge in the 20s, became a mainstream pop fixture in the 40s, had a big comeback in the 1950s with some of his most famous songs, then hit two more times in the 60s with huge singles Hello Dolly and his What a Wonderful World. Armstrong, Cher, Piaf, if you count acclaim but not sales gotta add Dylan and McCartney.

Pretty good! Was thinking -- oh this isn't Timbaland but maybe Jermaine Dupri, and nope it's Darkchild -- another producer I didn't really know beyond the name but looking at his credits he's behind a lot of good hits.

Want to completely change your impression of this song? I thought Creed was a Christian rock band for like...ever...because of this song.
