Kyle - 4 cards; 0 successes
Phoebe - 3 cards; 0 successes

Current Step: Submit new hand order, if desired. Then, everyone must declare 1 card. This card is the start of your stack. This card is face down so only you (and I) know what card it is.

Once everyone has done so, it will be Mike's turn to decide to add to their stack, or begin bidding. (Remember, you always start with your own stack first.)

I should have called that. If I were in your spot, it's exactly what I would have done.

I have two cards in play, while you and Kyle each have one.

(In the future we probably won't need a moderator, but it always helps the first play around....)

Except for the honesty/consistency portion. I can see myself switching up my card order a couple times and then forgetting which one was the skull, cuz I didn't write it down. And then I'd be afraid that in trying to recall which one it was, my "memory" could be colored by the current play. Especially if a round might take two or three days.

[Phoebe]

Sorry for delay! I'm assuming I can't choose to add another card to my pile? Otherwise I pass

So since Phoebe already passed, can she bid again? Or is she out?

[Phoebe]

I have to go out literally for a few hours and might not check in again until later, so please assume that I pass whenever I'm given the option in this round. If we go back to a situation where we can start laying cards again then wait for me?

[Mike]

I assumed it was poker style. I bid 3 so it goes back to Kyle then Phoebe etc. So if both of you pass again, then I get to draw 3.

But Eli can clarify.

Shit. I screwed up. I forgot I played my skull already. I will send a PM to Eli with my discard and new hand order.

The very first time I taught this game, I did exactly what Mike did. "And so you flip your own cards first..." *flip* Skull, "... And lose, apparently."

Mike had it. If you pass, you're out of bidding for the rest of that round.

Ahhh! Well don't feel bad because it probably would have happened anyway even if he had the right card down. We get to do a new shuffle now?
