If you could choose to see one live show by a now dead musician, but the show will be from when they were in their prime, who would it be?
I originally said Elvis, but my co-worker said Prince and I'm rethinking things.

Either the Minutemen (D. Boon) or Midnight Oil (Bones Hillman).

Ooh--I change my mind--John Coltrane.

Yeah... that's tough. If youve ever watched Elvis's comeback special where he's all in black and talking to the audience. The charisma just rolls off the man in waves. I get it. But Prince...? Yeah, I'd probably take Prince. But maybe I just haven't thought of all the possibilities. Beatles? Mozart? Hendrix? Freddie Mercury, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin...
Any time the solution is "banjo rifle", I'm in 100%.

Yeah- she said Prince and I thought about that half-time show of his and thought, "Damn. I want to see the full boat."

Reminded that James Brown is dead. Have dementia I guess. Hope this problem doesn't spread to other cases!
Also the answer is indeed Prince.
