Paizo is doing a playtest of a new character class that will be featured in an upcoming sourcebook,
Pathfinder Rage of Elements. The class is the Kineticist and is pretty much a Bender from Avatar. The class comes across as more of a martial artist class, using elemental powers magically to enhance their combat prowess. Options include specializing in a single element; the "Dual Gate" option, that gives a character two elements to manipulate; and the "Universal Gate", that allows for [cough... the Avatar... cough] the a character to manipulate all elements, though it sounds like there may be a cost of not having access to some more powerful feats that are available only to the more specialized... which makes sense in a game balance sense... (but not if you're trying to make Korra!)
The text of the playtest character page also teases that:
In Pathfinder Rage of Elements a longstanding planar seclusion ends, reopening the full planes of metal and wood! The final version of the kineticist class will include the elements of metal and wood and likely some hybrid impulses using multiple elements, but those aren't included in this playtest
