Rise of the Runelords, now flavored with Savage Worlds
I like Savage Worlds but never fell in love. I hope they can give it D&D/Pathfinder flavor while sticking to low to medium crunch.

I'm still kinda confused how buying a 45 for mood music works. Like would you put on the song, make out, and then in 3 minutes, go over to the record player and pick a different song? Or is the plan that one song gets you in? Or is it like, baby, my records can stack...

You need the record player that flips the record for you. Then you get six minutes. That's plenty of time, right? Right?

Maybe you're too young. Did your parents not have a jukebox in the family room? That's how everyone we knew did it back in the 70s.

Mike- your privilege is showing. Not everyone had a family room. Most homes had to put the jukebox in their kitchen.

But Cook had her own jukebox in the kitchen for her and the staff. Did most families NOT have separate music for the help?

Oh silly goose. The help can't listen to music- they can't understand it.

What's up, Leslie Gibb? You didn't want to release a multiple hit songs this year? Sure, have your brothers do everything. Is Andy on Mars? On Christmas?

The 7/12 time signature is off-putting. And I think the lead singer is doing a bad imitation of Billie Joe Armstrong. 2/10.

If Obama hadn't picked him then he wouldn't have been president when your washer and dryer failed, so like most things it turns out to be Obama's fault. It was wild to see him at the graduation (forget it I give up on verbal communication, human communication. I'm going back down under my blanket.)

Aghh, this song used to be played on the radio so, sooo much! We're really into a whole period of the seventies here that was inflicted upon me when my brain was soft and malleable and had minimal ways of resisting. I used to try to find the rock station on the radio so I could hear Led Zeppelin at that age! I did really like Jim Croce though, and John Denver. Disco was such a rescue operation at that point.

Every slumber party ever. I'm not sure the rest of you had that experience but if you didn't it's a shame.
Formative.

I can never get past the fact that the short one there was the law review editor on the Paper Chase. It's the funniest thing ever.

What, the last 7 songs and only 2 are written by a Gibb? They're slacking off near the end.

I really like the harmonies on this one. Used to really like Clapton but my fandom is at a nadir now, but I can't deny how boppy this is.
Didn't know Boogie Oogie Oogie featuring slick bass and guitar funk by women, yes please, more please.
How is Lionel Richie not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. He good!

My review of Pete's review:

Great point about Lionel Richie and extra points for using the word "nadir." Deductions for not giving an "out of ten" rating. 7.5/10

Music 10/10 creep backstory 1/10 I do wonder how much of its success is due to having a Sharona wearing a see-through wife-beater on the cover.

Btw, wife-beater? What the hell, culture?

I'm a big fan of both the musical acumen and the social commentary. I little disappointed at the lack of knowledge that the proper name is A Shirts. 8/10
