I don't know. I have been operating under that assumption, based on the fact that the game allows me to guess them, but I don't remember having seen any plural answers so far. I've seen the entire 200+ list of answers so far, but I wasn't specifically looking for that.

I also don't want a solid answer. Again, the word lists that Wordle uses are right there in the game's code, which is supposed to be easily viewable, since you can pull it up on a webpage. The 13,000+ words that are considered legal guesses are all listed. And then, the 2,000+ words that are actual answers are also listed, and they are in order. So if you look at the code and find today's word, the next word in that list is tomorrow's answer. At least this is what I was told in a video by a guy who wrote a Wordle solving algorithm.

So if what your kid told you is just based on speculation on the internet, then I agree that that seems likely. But if it's a thing people have verified as fact, then I feel like that's cheating. So I don't want to know which it is.
