I spend a lot of time on these puzzles; is it just me? I'll make a guess, then think, go do some other things, then look at it again and think some more.

So saying the answer a day later is totally good.

Can we agree that it's also okay to talk around the answer, like my drawings and Pheobe's mention of her kitchen? Hints and commentary are semi-spoilery but I never go here until I finish the puzzle. Does anyone come here first?

My thought is that if you want to cheat, I'm sure you can Google the day's answer by 12:15 am. I'm not competing with anyone but myself, so do whatever you want. I'm not looking here until I've solved it myself, because I'm somehow afraid that the pattern of your blocks will somehow give something away for me.

I think next day spoilers are completely fair and warranted.

Another thing though, why are people so secretive about their starting words?

nice! secretive of starting words because then if I see Akiva's wordle before I play, I know I shouldn't use "tone". If it went something like this

Then I'd have a good idea where the A went too. I assume at least that's why on social media it's spoilery to share. Here, again I'm cool with.

I always use different words too. The mood strikes as it does. However I am puzzled because what was happening in my kitchen had something to do with my second guess, but my second guess was the wrong answer. So I don't think it would help anyone unless I actually said what the word was. It's also a word related to the dog, because that's who was in the kitchen.

I am puzzled as to why everyone has white squares but I have black squares for the useless guesses? Is that just from having a Google phone or is it something else I'm not aware of?

I have them too. I think it's because I do it on my tablet, which is set to dark mode.

The words are curated right? I feel words like prick and this one are picked as opposed to randomly selected. I know it's only been a week for me, but haven't seen any particularly boring words yet, and most are cheeky or like sugar have to do with breakfast. That's why I clicked my third guess with a little bit of confidence, as it is totally a worldle word.

Also... looks like I drew a duck!
