My favorite Beatles song, and probably the song that's been on my regular playlist the longest. It's one of maybe five or six songs that just never get rotated out

All the Presidents Men 8/10
Forrest Gump 8/10 -- haven't seen in a long while but that was my feeling the last time I saw it.
Love Me Do 10/10 -- deceptively simple

I love Busta Rhymes so much, and this song is my favorite. His machine-gun staccato rhymes are as much percussive instrument as lyrics. It amazes me. Red Hot Chili Peppers did something similar in the chorus of Give It Away (which I also like), and Busta blows it out of the water. He acknowledges RHCP in the opening of this song by throwing in their lyrics but making them feel slow and laborious until he breaks into his own rhymes. So good.

Although even if I A) could ever memorize this song and B) manage to rap that fast, I could still never sing along, because he C) uses the N word 47 times. Damn.

Silence of the Lambs. Great movie. Classic. Was the greatest thing I'd ever seen when I first saw it.

Another one that never leaves the rotation. I first heard it in the Jackrabbit Slim's scene in Pulp Fiction back 1990-whatever, and it won me over.

Bleah. I can't figure out why this is here. Or actually, I do get it, but it shouldn't have gotten this far. It's an okay song, but something caught me, and in a moment of weakness, I put it on the list. And it's not my style, but it's ordinary enough that I never removed it until recently.

Breaking Away is a 12/10 and further proof these movie lists are generated by people who lack all taste.

Honestly don't think even one of those listed so far would make it onto my top 100.

In my interpretation of this song, I find it sad and sweet beneath the humor of it. I've looked up other songs of theirs, however and they seem pretty frat-boy,, bar band sort of rough, with an attitude that everything is too PC and people get offended too easily. They still perform, but haven't recorded in almost a decade. I don't know if they've grown up at all, but their attitude puts me off now.

I can't believe I didn't discover this until a couple years ago, it is just an emblematic 90's nerd-alternative song. I really like it, and I'm disappointed they don't have anything else I care for. But I suppose that's part of why I didn't notice them sooner.

This song is so NSFW that I'm only providing the url and not embedding it. And while I'm embarrassed to admit it's on my top 100 (and at #69 no less), it's also incredibly catchy and great for singing along... especially singing while driving for some reason. It's silly and dirty and fun.

Tootsie was a great film on its day, but was way too cringey last time I tried to watch any of it a few years ago.

I saw Unforgiven almost 30 years ago. I remember nothing about it.

Hands down one of the greatest covers of all time. Go listen to the original version, and it's really weak. The guy wrote a great song but put zero fire into the performance, as if he's too emo and disaffected to feel the anger of his own lyrics. But Shatner kills it. I'm not a fan of his spoken word songs, but I'm a fan of this one.

Last humorous song for a while, but a great one. This is another one from my kids, because they know my obsession with Gen Z slang. My problem is that every time I hear this song, it tends to get stuck on my head for a couple days afterwards.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf is one of the greats. It would definitely be on my top hundred but I don't think that would be true for most viewers.
Elizabeth Taylor does some of her finest work here. She's incredible. This movie will make you feel like you're an incredibly normal and boring and pleasant person, and that your life problems are completely manageable. You will also feel like you don't drink very much even if you drink a fair lot.
For these reasons alone it might be fun viewing, but the real reason to watch it is because you will find yourself incorporating about a dozen absolutely essential catchphrases into your daily life conversation.
The woman who plays the young pregnant wife is just as good as Elizabeth Taylor in her own different way, and everything she says is quotable for almost every situation in life.
