Welcome to Season 1, Episode 9 of my soon-to-be long running and very famous thread idea called: Guess the Garfield Punchline.
MAIN GAME: Here's how it works. I'll post a Garfield strip with the punchline missing. Everyone try to guess what it is. One guess per person. Whoever is closest wins a point. If no one is even close, then I'll announce that and everyone can get a new guess.
SECONDARY GAME: Post up the funniest punchline you can think of. Make sure you precede this guess with something like "Funny Guess:" or "Should be:" so I know it won't count against your guess for the main game. No points are awarded for the secondary game, but I think this will be the most fun part of it.
Today's cartoon:
[GtGPL/S1E9] There's Food Around the Corner
Re: [GtGPL/S1E9] There's Food Around the Corner
Yup. He talks to each one individually so they don't think he's playing favorites.
Any time the solution is "banjo rifle", I'm in 100%.
Re: [GtGPL/S1E9] There's Food Around the Corner
He's reading War and Peace to them right now!
Re: [GtGPL/S1E9] There's Food Around the Corner
Dammit... that might be it. I thought of him reading War and Peace but got bogged down with overly complicated wording. Now I wish I'd stayed on it.
Any time the solution is "banjo rifle", I'm in 100%.
Re: [GtGPL/S1E9] There's Food Around the Corner
It has to be War and Peace, right? Maybe the Collected Works of Shakespeare? I dunno. Encyclopedia Britannica?
Re: [GtGPL/S1E9] There's Food Around the Corner
Mike gets the accuracy point, but Eli get's the funny point. I mean... does Jim Davis even try?

How the hell is she talking while drinking tea?
