Watching KC and Denver with my Dad today - clash of the red vs blue teams! Longstanding NFL rivalry.
Blue was up, then red made a comeback and led by two points. Blue charged downfield and it was their game to lose... They played it safe, didn't go for the TD just in case of an accidental turnover but instead set up a one-shot field goal for the win.
Team red was braced for the loss; team blue expected success but still had to make the final play. And... The kick was blocked! Red wins! KC crowd goes wild... Everyone was staring in disbelief - a microcosm of the whole experience.
