I need a word

Post by Mike »

Today, I heard Chef described as the best food movie ever. At the same time, Burnt (by Gordon Ramsay) was described as the worst. I have not seen either, but I feel the same way about both of them...

Specifically, I really don't want to watch them, but I really wish that I HAD watched them at some nebulous time in the past.

Is there a word for that, other than lazy?
Any time the solution is "banjo rifle", I'm in 100%.

There was a BBC series on PBS called "Chef" and it was quite good.

Chef is actually the German word for boss, so Chefin would be a female boss. The German word for chef would be Koch. But I felt Chefinfreude just flowed better than Kochfreude or Kochinfreude, and felt it added another little layer to the meaning.

So Freud was not a psychologist...but a gourmand.

I remember on my first day of educational psychology, the professor had this whole bit where we listed all the psychologists we knew. Most people were only able to answer Freud. And then he completelky destroyed Freud, told us how he wasn't actually a psychologists, and then began his lecture.
