It's not often that I work in my Austin office, but when I do, it's fully Oatesified.

I was talking to someone about how huge Hall and Oates were, and I said, "Look, if you're over 40, they had at least 10 hits that you would recognize." I wasn't wrong! Here's the list and, even if you don't think you know these songs, go listen. You probably do:

Sara Smile
She's Gone
Out of Touch
Kiss on My List
Maneater
Private Eyes
Rich Girl
Method of Modern Love
I Can't Go for That
Adult Education
You Make My Dreams Come True
You've Lost that Love and Feeling (Their cover of it)

That's 12 songs! And that's not even including the fact that they were one of the biggest stars (at the time) on We Are the World.

Y'all. How awesome were Hall and Oates?

In the waiting room for my daughters’ orthodontist appointment, and “Maneater” is on the radio.

Sadly followed by sappy late Chicago and Christina Aguilera.
