I'm posting this here instead of the Babble music thread because this article made an even better read alongside the review of John Oates' memoir. It's about Christopher Cross, who before Billie Eilish last year was the other person to sweep the top categories at the Grammys. This also came up in one of the trivia game threads from a while back.
So, I'm a fan of this guy anyway, but his story is an interesting read even if you're not a fan - for one thing, by sheer coincidence he was one of the first few people in the U.S. to contract Covid and then develop Guillain-Barre Syndrome, from which he's still recovering.
Anyway, it's an interesting comment on what his Grammys success meant to him and how he thinks about his career. He's still raring to get back to touring this fall! I should go see one of those shows if possible, not sure where he's going.
