[Awesome in the 80s] Predator

Post by Kyle »

Okay, I want to watch Predator next. I saw this five years ago, but I was drunk and vaguely recalled that it held up.

I'm giving you a week and a half! Watch it the remainder of this week or next week, and then we'll open it up for discussion on Sunday the 25th.

It's free to stream on Hulu!

WHO'S WITH ME?!?!

You know I am!
Any time the solution is "banjo rifle", I'm in 100%.

We get to babysit the granddaughter for the first time tonight. So we're going to show her Predator. Great first movie. Such serendipity.

Oh my god! I forgot to talk about this! It was awesome! It held up great!

Are you a fan of backstory and character arcs? Then fuck off! This is not the movie for you!

Seriously, this is wall to wall action. They don't give a shit what the history of the characters are. This is all about an alien that comes to earth to fight the greatest prey it can find. And boy does it. Arnold. Jesse the Body. Carl Fucking Weathers! And look- Bill Duke is the true hero of this movie.

Y'all this movie held up great and is an amazing blueprint for what pure action movies should be. So great.
