I missed this before and congratulate myself on ignorance in this situation! But you are 100% right that those little videos are a disaster for the brain. I have struggled with those little videos so many times. It started off with dogs... Then it was people giving voices to the dogs... Then other animals... Right now the AI is pretty sure I want to listen to birds having conversations with each other that seem extraordinarily intelligent and not particularly automatic. I just want the AI to hurry up and crack the code of whale language and I don't know what is taking so long. You got all kinds of recordings of the blue whales and you've got all kinds of recordings of the other whales and you've got a machine that is supposed to be able to study all this and find the patterns and crack the codes so come on let's get on it already! I want to be able to talk to the whales.Mando wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 9:04 pm haven't reached that level, but the youtube shorts can be so distracting.

This is disorienting.
I have actually disabled most notifications because I go down rabbit holes and then I scroll for just a little more dopamine.
