Billboard Hot 100 Year End Chart 2022 38. Break My Soul (Beyonce)
RELEASE YER WIGGLE! I get why some might dislike how Beyonce is pretending she ever worked a 9 to 5 job in her life, but she's writing the song for us not her. That's called empathy, that's called kindness. Also I'm back to being unsure if she's shaming those who wear/wore masks outside. It was a scary time and science wasn't clear yet, give us a break. Anyways, otherwise what a banger. 9/10

Billboard Hot 100 Year End Chart 2022 36. The Kind Of Love We Make (Luke Combs)
The 90s Sheryl Crow sound is alive, so I enjoy that, but the vocals and the lyrics I'm pretty down on, just never meshes -- he proposes something sexy and I think "no thanks". Sorry 6/10

Billboard Hot 100 Year End Chart 2022 35. Fancy Like (Walker Hayes)
This is polarizing in my own head, it's wild. A Yung Gravy-like struggle. Can't tell if this is extremely annoying or actually pretty awesome. I've warmed on it, the war in my head is won or lost on "Applebees on a date night." Is this a 5/10 goofy mess or a 9/10 goofy classic. I'll split the frosty 7/10

Billboard Hot 100 Year End Chart 2022 34. Til You Can't (Cody Johnson)
Well it has a good message. Maybe someday this will hit me. There's some songs that didn't hit me til I got "older" (see Bonnie Raitt's "Nick of Time"). No doubt this is a few people's favorite song ever and not gonna yuck their yum. Feel if I saw this live it'd be exciting but maybe that's with songs here I disliked. 7/10

I think the hoodie and mask combo is meant to be a good thing - a uniform for dealing with the outside world, where one is not going to expose the whole self. I like that she uses the word release... Like you could be letting go of your anger in the sense of getting rid of it, or you could let it go in the sense of expressing it. It's going to be released... Is it going to be like an album or a bird that flies off somewhere? It's a good word.

Billboard Hot 100 Year End Chart 2022 33. Jimmy Cooks (Drake Featuring 21 Savage)
The most out-of-place song in Drake's house album, the one that was most like his previous stuff, so of course people loved it most. I think if I heard it outside his move to versatility, I'd like it more. 7/10

Billboard Hot 100 Year End Chart 2022 32. Numb Little Bug (Em Beihold)
Quite mixed on this song. The pop music is indeed poppy, but it also can come across as care-free or flippant while discussing serious subjects, some of which can be a bit anxiety-provoking for me. But I guess The Smiths did it and I didn't complain, and good on those who this song helps. 7/10

Just a typical Tuesday morning, carefully inspecting the dog vomit to figure out what on earth he ate to produce this result.

I knew it. I dreamed about sick puppies all night. Anyone need Mexican antibiotics? I still have some.
Re: Unki11able

The dog seems morose and probably has a tummy ache, but I don't think the antibiotics will help. I can't figure out what he ate but it doesn't seem like a digestible food item. It could have been the plastic bumper off a cutting board, which he somehow found when no one else could. Or it could be a chunk of a rubber dog toy, or a piece of the edge of a trash can? Something in that category. He either vomited it all out and will be fine, or not. So far no interest in eating, but that's not too unusual. At this time of day he's hoping for something better than kibble, just in case someone is making a ham sandwich or doesn't want to finish their egg.
The other dog just came over and poked me in the butt repeatedly with his nose and then sneezed a giant wet sneeze all over me. It was like he needed a few pokes to work the sneeze out and then was able.
Now they're biting each other's faces and having a fine time.

Flu: Day 5.
The fever is starting to get under 99 with acetaminophen. I actually have health insurance again starting tomorrow so it will be to urgent care with me then. Does mean I have to reschedule a different appointment that's already been rescheduled because of the non-notification that ended my insurance in the first place. I'm a little bit pissed.

Good luck with the Flu! I was 7 days protected with a shot when I got it and the fever lasted 3 days and the aches and post-nasal lasted longer. Getting the sht out of my lungs was the most stressful part, took antibiotic, all said took maybe 3 weeks to feel normal again.
Billboard Hot 100 Year End Chart 2022 29. Sunroof (Nicky Youre & dazy)
20 years from now, when upbeat films take place in this era, the soundtrack will play this song. It'll probably make the audience laugh. Bubbly harmless joy. Lyrics hardly make any sense. 9/10

Billboard Hot 100 Year End Chart 2022 28. Bad Habit (Steve Lacy)
This generation's Sweet Jane, goofily simple, secretly complex, straight forward pop and a bit of an epic too (one that radio stations skip out on between Part 2's breakdown and Part 3's beatbox & ukulele revival -- boo gimme that HIP-UKE). Awkward, off, and my jam. Not always in the mood for it, but I am today 9/10
