Sure, it's Dahl's estate, and they can do what they want with their property. If they want to try to sanitize his image, or make more money by re-releasing different versions of his book, that's their right. If this is what parents want for their kids, then fine. It's just not for me. Maybe I'm just passing into "grumpy old man" territory. Or not getting enough sleep. Bah, humbug.

Hey- I'm a little sluggish this morning and thought about getting some assistance from my neighbor, Barbiturate Armadillo, but he's always such a downer. Does anyone else know someone I can talk to?

Exactly my point. If Mormons want a video store that edits out the language, violence and nudity- go for it. There's Mormons that will appreciate that. Let's not worry about having to keep track of what things people should read and what they shouldn't. Let's just let them make up their own minds.

Dr. Suess's estate chose to stop publishing six of his books that had racist content.

But for real guys. Barbiturate Armadillo is refusing to talk to me and now I found out that Adderall Sloth- you know the guy that lives one block up and two over from me- is out of town for the next two weeks. Anyone know anyone that I can talk to for a quick pick-me-up?
