Are we trying to guess what creepy song lyrics were written about 17-year-old girls by older dudes? I mean there are so many! Even the Beatles saw her standing there at 17. Brian Seltzer has a 17 year old Little Rock and roll Queen. Stevie nicks does not make clear which edge of seventeen things are happening on but clearly a lot more is happening than I would be comfortable with for a 17 year old. The whole damn culture sexualizes teenaged girls. We live surrounded by assholes at all times.

I woke up after a mild anxiety dream, dog wanted out, put on a podcast, for some reason couldn't fall back asleep, though probably checked the news or something in there.

I am fortunate that I can wake up, do something (like going to the bathroom or taking the dog out), and then immediately go back to sleep. My wife always runs the risk of being awake for the next two hours in these situations.
