I haven't known any of these since Pitbull's I Know You Want Me. That's 8 in a row... some by artists I know and like. Now I have to go find my iTunes and see what the hell I WAS listening to in 2009.
EDIT: Okay, I opened my iTunes for the first time in years, and after verifying my identity no less than three times, I was finally allowed to look. Based on the listening patterns of my whole household, the most played songs of 2009 were:
1. In My Head -- Jason Derulo
2. I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) [More English Extended Mix] -- Pitbull
3. Ain't No Rest for the Wicked -- Cage the Elephant
4. Darrowshire -- Cranius
5. Gold Digger (Glee Cast Version) -- Glee Cast
6. Right Round -- Flo Rida
7. Short Change Hero -- The Heavy
8. Trouble -- Never Shout Never
9. Holy -- Mariachi El Bronx
10. I Gotta Feeling -- The Black Eyed Peas
11. Your Love Is My Drug -- Ke$ha
12. (I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles -- MxPx
13. Do I -- Luke Bryan
14. On the Other Hand -- Randy Travis
15. Monkey Man -- Reel Big Fish
16. Awake and Alive -- Skillet
17. Tik Tok -- Ke$ha
18. Cell Mates -- Mariachi El Bronx
19. American Ride -- Toby Keith
20. If I Had You -- Adam Lambert
21. Talk Dirty to Me -- Reel Big Fish
22. Hurry Home -- Jason Michael Carroll
23. Battlefield -- Jordin Sparks
24. Good Ol' Fashion Nightmare -- Matt & Kim
25. Smells Like Nirvana -- Weird Al Yankovic
I offer no explanations or apologies. Although, some of it I don't understand at all.

See? I know that song. And owned it. And must have played it. Not on my list.
AHA! Because it was released in 2008. I get it.

I'm not familiar with Shinedown, but the singer has a very interesting face. Long hair makes it even more interesting.

Post breakdown and one year into her conservatorship. This was during some of her greatest critical acclaim AND part of her super-luceative Las Vegas residency. She was maturing as a performer, and it makes me wonder how much she was trying to prove herself under the assumption that doing so would let her take control of her life back.
