Update: Came out October 2002, it split over multiple years, not only the 28th biggest hit of 2003 but the 28th biggest hit of the decade.

Wikipedia only lists 11 songs that sold more copies in the US.

2003 is far and away the year so far that I have recognized THE LEAST songs. I've only recognized a couple by artist/title alone, and then grand total I maybe am familiar with half of them once I listen.

2003 was the year my third son was born. I'm betting 2006 is going to be pretty bad as well. We'll see.
