Bold move, Mr. Jones.

12 hours from now I will have played 2 church services, an Opera and had a quartet read with a composer.

Yikes! That's a lot of action! But good actions!
This alphabet list is objectively terrible. I submit:

Re: The 12 Hour Deathless Thread
The AFI lists really fall short not only because they don't know what a quote is and they watch only old movies, but they also live in a world populated almost exclusively by white guys. I like the occasional white guy pretty well and don't mind that the lists tilt that direction, but the heroes one bugs the s*** out of me. Heroes are white guys according to the AFI, basically.

Big. Ass. Tree.
Wonderfully composed, it's like a fight between the foreground and background, between the beautiful Fuji and the brutalist big ass tree, so big he framed it so you can't even see it all. Also I just realized there's two green ball-like mounds on the right, and now think this is his most horny work.

Moses, the notable film icon.
Ideally a film icon transcends the text from which they are first and best known for. Don't know if many of these do so.
Except the Terminator. Terminator being on both lists is awesome. More of that, AFI.

Ugh, how is N better than M? Bah! I like N well enough but M is clearly better.
It's not that I don't like all these heroes, either. Obi-wan? Of course. But the heroes list really shows you how sexist and racist Hollywood has been and continues to be.

Been long confused at the horizons here, but always thought it looked cool. Cool dramatic horizons, feels abstract. Now I think it's clear it goes Land, river, the void of foggy land, and then the horizon/fuji. A boat that's half the size of the river, and a comparatively tiny guy that's closer to us. Love the horse. The sticks it's carrying make it look like a pegasus. If you're going to buy me one of these, I certainly won't say no to this.

Re: The 12 Hour Deathless Thread
The very idea that Tarzan is some kind of improved hero over Obi-Wan. And Obi-Wan goes away! How exactly does that work as the hero narrative - like are we going to put Luke in here as a better hero??
