Deathless
Re: Deathless
Added a favorite "Jump" song but removed it as, spoiler, we'll hear it from Tahlvin in due time.
Want to tailor a song for the youth? Make it about something they can relate to.
Both these Jump songs were huge, because we could relate, we like to jump!

Re: Deathless
Ah yes... Jack Be Nimble. My favorite classic pop song about jumping.
Any time the solution is "banjo rifle", I'm in 100%.
Re: Deathless
I'm partial to Hey Diddle Diddle, that cow's jump more impressive than jumping over a tiny flame.
Re: Deathless
My second favorite hair from the 80s.
Re: Deathless
Curse you, Pete! When will I learn that I can't compete with you on anything music related?

Re: Deathless
I agree. He was truly one of the genius musicians of our lifetime.
Re: Deathless
Daryl Hall was very pretty. John Oats was another person in the group.
Re: Deathless
That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said about either of them. Bless you.

Re: Deathless
This one is special for me. When our oldest was born, to get them to sleep we would sometimes take them for a drive in the car. We'd play the 80's radio station and this song seemed to be on regular rotation, so this is one of the songs I remember singer to them to get them to sleep.
Re: Deathless
Are we still in 84?
Re: Deathless
Yes, still on 1984. The following is #24. Trying to decide if I'm going to do the top 30 or 35 for that year, since there are some good ones.
Re: Deathless
Oh dang! I got confused and thought this was Rosanna. But that's Toto. Rosanna rocks. Joanna... meh.

Re: Deathless
Stevie Wonder. Y'all. Damn.
Re: Deathless
The best. I wonder if he preferred rotary or push-button?

Stevie Wonder's a musical genius!

Re: Deathless
My brother-in-law's name is Matthew Wilder. Different person, but same name...
Re: Deathless
Yes. That's what he was arrested for a year ago... He banged her with a chair. A dispute over some money he hadn't paid her. Wow.
Still like the song.

Re: Deathless
Love hearing Prince deep in the mix but still completely noticable. 10/10
Re: Deathless
Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights
The only song for divine ears.
The only song for divine ears.
"Yay! I'm for the other team."
Re: Deathless
And who could forget this gem, coming in at #31 for 1984:
Re: Deathless
I feel like this is a cheesy song, but I can't tell, because my nostalgia loves it so much.

Re: Deathless
Classic pop/r&b/country triple crossover. A rarity, like early Elvis or Old Town Road 10/10
Re: Deathless
Darn, I missed one. That’s what I get for doing this on my iPad instead of my laptop. Elton was #33, Madonna was #35, and this should have been in between.
