Y’all. It’s so cold here. It was 3 when I woke up. It was below zero with wind chill. We just got power back about two hours ago. That’s the first consistent power we’ve had since 7 last night. It was 53 in my house this morning. We had five inches of snow, which was topped with sleet and freezing rain that turned everything into three inches of ice. No one has power. Most people have no water. My kids were snowboarding in downtown Marble Falls! What is going on?

But even crazier than that- 1984?!?! ALL FUCKING BANGERS!

It was around -27 when I left the house this morning. It is now 0. I don't know wind-chill.

I put a new battery in my son's car today. Tomorrow will be up to 12, so I'll finally try the van and see if it needs a battery as well.

We lost power for an hour today in a rolling blackout.

We have suffered minimally, and I am grateful for that.

Never been a fan of this one. Nowadays, all Duran Duran is nostalgic, so I enjoy them on that level, but none of their songs were ever big favorites of mine.
