To Bidet or Not to Bidet

Post by Kyle »

I really don't understand the objection to bidets. Y'all this is the most sanitary way to use the bathroom AND is much better for the environment.

What's your problem? What's your problem with bidets?

You dry it with toilet paper.

I don't know if any of you listen to The Daily Zeitgeist, but they have had the BEST commercials for bidets. Just picture a monster truck rally commercial, but about cleaning your butthole.

Doesn't it get too wet to dry with toilet paper? Like how diffuse is the stream? I have tried them when not in the US but it was part of the larger process of taking a shower in the morning anyway. I don't want to have to towel off after a normal toilet trip while dressed, you know what I mean? Nor do I have time to drip dry - speed is usually of the essence.

Nope.

Not very, but enough that your butt is completely clean.

Unnecessary. I use 3-4 squares and it dries it perfectly.

Or I suppose you could get someone to stand there with a spray bottle and spritz you thoroughly?
