Re: Brews at the Zoo
On Father's Day, I took the kids to the zoo. There's a big walk aorund outdoor area with a significant elephant exhibit. Right by there, is a food stand. The kids wanted pretzels, so they got those, and I, to my amazement that they had it, had a hard cider. It was the first drink I'd had in months. ...

While I have not seen all of these shows, I would absolutely agree with Parks and Recreation, Schitt's Creek, and Steven Universe. I don't know if I can think of a whole series, but there are probably snippets of things. I"ll have to think on this.

I think maybe it would have been racist at that point in time, but isn't racist now. Assimilation of culture takes time and contextual meaning can change over time.

Re: Second to None
Yeah, I don't really see how that could be racist if it's something that is atually just used by the group of people who created it and then fully accepted and used by other people in the same manner. That would be like saying bechamel sauce is racist because it's French.

Second to None
That's such a weird phrase. I mean, I know it's use. It's supposed to be a superlative. "You are so awesome that there is no way you could even be put in second place." However, if you look at the phrase a little differently, it's a complete slam in the face. "If I had to choose, I gu...

This could be a brilliant move. I know that there have been several polls that have suggested that Harris has a much higher chance of beating Trump than Biden. (I think one poll said that a Harris/H. Our goto to end earworms in high school was to listen to "What You Own" from the original cast recording of Rent. Not sure why, but it seemed like you could never remember the previous song after hearing it, and it didn't really get stuck in your head after listening either.

Ketchup contains every flavor profile: sweet, salty, savory, spicy, and bitter. Which is why it is so satisfying.
Unfortunately, it does pale in comparison to the other dipping sauce that contains these same flavor profiles.
