I think a paternity test in this era has more to do with spells that determine whether someone is lying and asking the mother of the child who the father is...

Re: Next game
Zen, just a suggestion, but you might want to make your character older? Elves in Pathfinder 2e theoretically reach emotional maturity at 100, and it sounds like you're envisioning someone who is much older, emotionally, than that. I may be missing something, though. Well, the requirement for the &...
Re: Next game
The concept was probably influenced a bit by a manga that my son showed me recently named Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (https://www.viz.com/frieren-beyond-journeys-end -The first chapter is available there.) It is about an elven mage who is part of the "Hero Party" who defeats the Demon K...
Re: Next game
Alternate Druid concept: An older Woodland elf who decided to start serving as a scout for groups travelling through the forest and was intrigued when she met an order of Druids during her travels. She joined the order and became a druid at the mature age of 103. (Ancestry feat of "Ancestral Lo...

Chrome vulnerability
The IT guy at work just sent us a message to update our Chrome browsers because of a vulnerability that is out in the wild. Not sure what it's supposed to do, but updating is pretty easy. (Click on the three dots at the top left, select help, then "About Google Chrome" and it starts updati...
Re: Next game
Oh, and the druid character that I designed has healing as an emphasis. I took the Medicine skill, as well as the "Healing Plaster" cantrip and first-level "Heal" spell. I'd probably go with Natural Healing for my next general feat as well. In addition, I gave her the "Other...
Re: Next game
BTW... while the spreadsheet I gave the link to looks like it could be good, I keep getting errors with it. It might be that I'm filling in things that are automatic, but I don't know. I can't seem to get it to work. I had a fun discussion with the admin on the discord site when I was trying to figu...
Re: Calendar
Tonight!
Re: Next game
So, a while back I created a character that was a werebearkin elemental monk-druid. I'm thinking that one probably won't go directly into 2.0 core rules as I'm not seeing anything with shifters in the core rules... At this point, I think I'm going to avoid multiclassing for simplicities sake with th...
Re: Calendar
Technically Dave said he was ok for tonight or 12/9 at the end of the last session. I am good for either as well. If we don't play tonight, maybe we could get together and discuss what we're playing next and plan characters?
Re: Calendar
Turns out I have to attend a high school band concert on the 9th. It should end around 9:30 Eastern Time, so I should be on Roll20 before 10:00. Is the 9th when we're scheduled next? I think I missed specific dates... (If we ignore the strangeness around last week, the 2nd would be our next time, b...
Re: Calendar
Oh... That's right... It's next Tuesday, isn't it! I was going to be very confused tonight...!
Re: Calendar
The 11th works fine for me. (Not that the 3rd is an option anymore. Work has been really busy lately...)
Re: Loot
And my character sheet is updated with the headband. The link is the same.
Loot
Actually, the headband I was wearing was a Headband of Vast Intelligence +4, with Knowledge (Nobility) and Spellcraft as the two skills it gave ranks in. (I will miss the extra ranks in Spellcraft...) It might be useful for someone who isn't wearing one.
Re: Calendar
I agree that postponing is the wise choice.

So... Thursday the 12th is TONIGHT!

Re: The most Seagal thing I've seen in years
Why are so many of the people whose work I enjoyed in my youth such complete and utter assholes? I mean, I studied Aikido for several years and got through several testing levels. I took a few classes at the Genyokan, the headquarters dojo of the Aikido Yoshokai Association (known as a different nam...

Re: Calendar
May have to run out for a short bit tonight to pick up a new laptop for my wife before she leaves for Michigan tomorrow. (I already ordered it and it should be ready in about an hour. So I might be there and back before most people are online...)
Re: Calendar
😮 Badlands! I'm very excited! I expect to come tonight but I will need to depart for about a half an hour at some point to pick up my kid from a thing. I'm also not mentally at my finest these days yet, sorry to say, so please bear with me if I am confused. By late in the evening I'm usually at a k...

And the Black Hills don't have wifi? Oh... yeah... they probably don't... I suppose they call them Badlands for a reason...

Re: Calendar

Re: Calendar
As mentioned on Messanger, I heartily agree with the sentiment of waiting until we have a more complete party to play.

Re: Calendar
There's a possibility that I might not be able to use my computer tonight because of the, hopefully, final bit of work being done in our basement today. If the sealant they use on the floor needs to be left to dry and not walked on, I won't be able to get to the computer. I'll let you guys know later.
Re: Calendar
This week, then back to every other week (5/20, 6/3, etc.). So... the construction in my basement/home office area that I was concerned about disrupting my ability to be online last week is PROBABLY actually going to be happening tomorrow... FINALLY... so I will probably be able to play, but if the...

Re: Calendar
Frankly, I'm just about falling asleep where I sit right now, so it's just as well. I'd probably check out somewhere mid session.
Re: Calendar
I'm out tonight. I'm overworked and have to sleep if I'm going to function the next few days. Have fun though! If I recall correctly, we were in the midst of combat... would it be alright to say that Dothan just keeps singing and doesn't do any other actions for the remainder of the combat? (If we ...

Re: Vaccination
And now it seems that the J&J one-shot has been recalled, after Tahlvin and I both got it... But the reason for the recall was blood clots occurring in a very small percentage of women between the ages of 18 and 45... while my taste in manga might be more similar to that group than it is most ot...
Re: Calendar
I'd love to have everyone there, so I'm with Mike, I say wait, but I'll check in and see if we decide to proceed tonight. Maybe we go through a round of combat just to allow Phoebe to release some tension. Either way is good with me. I doubt that I would last the whole night anyway. I've been reall...
