In this episode, Mike opens with some lengthy feedback on the matter of Chewie-Leia hugging. Then he steps into the Science Corner to talk about pollster Ann Selzer and the fuzzy nature of some polling processes, with an extended detour into his own experiences with the Fantasy Movie League. In the Pod People segment, Mike reaffirms his love for Getting On with James Urbaniak, but also discusses a new (to him) podcast called TV Guidance Counselor. And then since it’s Deadpool week, Mike has a Nerd Rage about people who want a kid-friendly Deadpool. R2 shows up for some Pod-O-Matic, and delivers three listener-submitted questions this week about Mike’s ultimate gaming room, regional accents and code-switching, and why Mercury is called Mercury even though it’s not made of mercury. Listener Betrayal caps off the episode, and among other stuff, Mike gives a recap of the Valentine weekend… which DIDN’T include a screening of Deadpool, but was otherwise pretty perfect.

The we polish off the meticulously plotted portion of the show with some Nerd Rage, as Mike complains about the soulless nature of retail work.
