[GtGPL/S1E21] Don't Mind if I Do

Post by Kyle »

Welcome to Season 1, Episode 21 of the long-running and very famous thread idea called: Guess the Garfield Punchline.

MAIN GAME: Here's how it works. I'll post a Garfield strip with the punchline missing. Everyone try to guess what it is. One guess per person. Whoever is closest wins a point. If no one is even close, then I'll announce that and everyone can get a new guess.

SECONDARY GAME: Post up the funniest punchline you can think of. Make sure you precede this guess with something like "Funny Guess:" or "Should be:" so I know it won't count against your guess for the main game. No points are awarded for the secondary game, but I think this will be the most fun part of it.

You also have an excellent body for a man.
Any time the solution is "banjo rifle", I'm in 100%.

I try to judge how correct my answers are by how well they match the expressions. In this case, I was sure I was off, because Garfield looked amused. The only way he's amused is if Jon has humiliated himself. But in context, that expression says, "Good one, bro." Because bonding over misogyny bridges all divisions in 19866.

Yes, in the year 19,866 civilization will repeat its past mistakes. Time is a flat circle.

I'm adding a new verse to that song...

In the year 1986... 6...

It feels awkward though. I'm working on it.
