Active shooter situation at a small town middle school just a short distance southwest of us. Sounds like the suspect was "neutralized" before getting into the school and no kids are hurt, thank goodness.

I have asthma (very well controlled, as long as I take my preventive med), so I'm susceptible to pneumonia causing severe respiratory problems if I do catch it. And having been hospitalized once a long, long time ago because of pneumonia and asthma complications, I don't ever want to repeat that.

I've read a couple of her non-MurderBot series and they were pretty good. The The Books of the Raksura series has a few things that may be a bit more on the mature side in terms of sex (nothing explicit), so may be more for teen and older.
